How come I see so many people selling their 18" R32 or 20AE wheels and calling them Aristo's??? On the drivers gear website at this link the 1st wheel pictured is said to be the OEM R32 and 20AE wheel : http://drivergear.vw.com/store/accessory.asp?parent%5Fcategory%5Fid=12&category%5Fid=82&subcategory%5Fid=267&product%5Fid=3067

And the wheel at this link is the Aristo which is the second picture which is a 17" wheel, which I have 4 of with tires. http://drivergear.vw.com/store/accessory.asp?parent%5Fcategory%5Fid=12&category%5Fid=82&subcategory%5Fid=267&product%5Fid=3068

Are all the R32 and 20AE drivers on some kind of designer drug? What is What here. Any opinions?

yeah i was actually talking about that a couple days ago in the mkIII forum. we were discussing 18" arietta wheels on a mk3 and he tried to correct the name of the wheel but then i gave him that same link you have. I know everyone knows them as Aristos but maybe VW gave them the name Arietta to differ them in the vw community???
