Wheelmax.com Buyers Beware...

Okay I got my rims today. Packaged nicely and look good. My issue is with what I was told was a complimentary road hazard warranty. When I got my invoice I was charged $50 for this warranty. Now it is something that I would have bought into. But when I called, Jay told me it was complimentary. I called today and all they could do was apologize and offer to remove the warranty. I just want to let you all know. I dont know if Jay may be trying to sneak these warranties in, or if its a general policy of wheelmax in general to sneak them in. Also they charged me $5 more per rim then the prices stated on the site. They credited that $20 back to my account. Just wanted you all to be aware....

That's messed up... $50 is not bad at all.. but they should have told you about the extra charge...

glad to hear you got them. I had a small problem with wheelguyz when i bought my current rims two years ago. they sent me rims with a five lug pattern after I repeated to the salesguy about ten times that I had the four lug pattern while making the order. the "wheel stud conversion kit" they sent me was pretty crappy and they weren't to apologetic about the time it took to replace it. decent prices but overall shitty customer service.

but im glad you finally got ur rims. what size/type tires did u end up going with?
