New guy again! Opinions on Auto X wheel/tire...

Any opinions on running the Kumho Victoracer V700 (the D.O.T. version) 205/60 13 on the stock '82 Scirocco 13" alloys? What is the width of the stock rims? Would I be better off with a set of 14" alloys from a GTI, etc.? Any advice on this would be appriciated. I am going to have a set of wheels and tires to drive to the track on so streetablity isn't a huge deal but I believe Street Prepared requires D.O.T. tires. Cost VS. performance is my main goal--this is a car to have fun in on track days not to show.

the Kuhmos grip almost as good as the tires that cost twice as much, some people even say the grip better. they are an awesome value. I don't think you'd be going wrong with 13 or 14" wheels and I don't know the stock width. you'd probably want at least a 5.5" wide wheel for 205 width tires.

As Jeremy said, those V700s are great tires with great grip and will last long. Can't go wrong with those. Those tires are on my list as soon as I have some extra cash :)
