View Full Version : so if I make the monte's my winters, what do you think of these for summers?
I'm thinking I want to make the monte's my winters and get something brand new (and not used) for myself for summer shoes.
I was thinking I like the SSR GT7 ...whatcha all think?

lol.. what's wrong with 17"x8"?
it's a HUGE price difference (almost $200 per wheel) between the 17" and 18" versions...
...and chicagoland streets don't comply well with 18s :(

17s are cool ONLY if you lower it at least an inch. i know it's a pain but I really hate the wheel gap. consider something like H&R sports with barely over an inch drop(if that) and pretty much factory ride comfort
naw.. I can cheat with 225 50 17s instead to fill that 'gap' ;)
...or even 235 50 17s ;)
...OR 225 55 17s.. lol

get 18s for pete's sake. Streets are worse in New Orleans but people still rock their 18s :D
well, if I get a job soon from one of the 3 job interviews I'm going on, I might just suck it up and try 19s again and get the SSR GT-2 instead ;)
...first I have to see howw the interview's go.. wish me luck!
