BUT we have been so slow around im trying to get everyone to participate a little more so...
here is the tires i want 225/45ZR17 94 AZENIS ST-115. it has 360 tread wear, my friend got them on is 20th and they hook up real hard. did i mention they only cost 90 bucks a piece!!!
so now if anyone got experience with them or have a better alternative please drop a line

ST-115 has crappy traction from my experience. it's a sports tire made to last, not to grip. if you want an Azenis that can grip go for the the Azenis sport

Best tire I've owned so far have been Pirelli PZero Nero's in the 220 treadwear rating. Gripped like a mofo and lasted me 15k miles. If you're only looking for about a year of life out of them and are willing to pay to play, then go with those. If not, Kuhmo MX is also an excellent economical tire where you can pay less and get at least 20k miles out of them.

I really like my Dunlop FM901s.... they grip well, and from what I hear - they last awhile, too. They're not too confident in the rain, but if you can deal with it - i recommend it.

st115's will not last as long as stock all season, theyre a 30k summer only tire.
treadware only provides a comparison for tires within the same brand, outside of that it really wont say much...
on that note, i liked st115's they stuck great through the corners, much better than the stock eagle rsa's i had. and i didnt have problems in heavy rain with hydroplanning.
they were also more comfortable and quieter than the stock tires.
so to sum it up, theyre a far superior tire to stock eagle rsa's but they def wont last as long. i got close to 50k outa the rsa's
right now im rocking riken raptor zr's (made by bfgoodrich i think) and they seem equally as great although i havent really pushed em too far, well see how long they last.

got rid of them after just 2k miles. that's how disappointed in them I was. now im using the BF Goodrich G-sport which seem to be the perfect comprimise between traction and longetivity. So far, I'm extremely satisfied with these.

k thanks, handling in the rain is a major thing here cause it rains pretty much all damn summer, and as long as i can get like 15 to 20 k mostly highway its all good

they should last 20k, my 30k was on highway with like 3 drag days, and i take on and off ramps fast.
with rain the only time they got squmish was in the very last days when they were basically right at the tread markers.

g-sports should be right around $20 more per tire but well worth the difference.

The falkens have very stiff sidewalls, not the best for drag racing. You looking for new street tires or just something to help at the track? If you want better times at the track, lookinto getting a set of mickey tohmphons for the front(w/extra rims) or bfg t/a's. I think these guys have the streets covered.... except i have ridden on the st115 and its a good tire for the price me thinks. Case of you get what you pay for.
For my streets i have these yokohamma avid v4's. Last forever, phenominal grip for a tire with a 500+ treadwear rating, low road noise, and only 80 bucks for a 16 inch wheel.
good luck, hope my inmput helped.

I have those on my stock 15" BBS Bugatti wheels. not really a fan of them but I guess I'm really picky about my tires

hankook ventus sport k104s have impressed the hell out of me for wet traction, and are great in dry. sidewalls aren't SUPER stiff but if you overinflate they suffice. i hated the pzero neros i had, too much of a compromise. i'd guess ~15-20k out of em

Well, me too, but i'm ultra cheap so i place more emphasis on the cost part cost vs grip. But only for the streets...for racing tires i try to buy the best stuff i can afford. My next set is gonna be some st615 azenies me thinksbiglaugh:
That way my street tires last forever and i can spend money on race rubbers:p

well i think im gonna go with the azenis, and then next set of tires i ll try will be the bf-gforce sports
what about kuhmo 711s? They are even cheaper still ;)

yeah the falkens have a lil better tread rating and i think they might hook up a lil harder
o.k. ...g-luck then
well from what i see the fakens looks like a better over pakage then the 711, but u do know a lot about this kinda stuff, so what u think would be the best tires
kumhos:Ecsta Supra 712, Ecsta SPT, Ecsta 711
falkens:AZENIS ST-115
BFGoodrich: g-Force Sport
all those are in my price range what would be the pakage of GOOD TRACTION, GOOD FOR RAIN, AND GOOD TREAD WEAR. keep in between those tires
unfortunately I know very little about the falken's so you may indeed be right.
I've used the Kuhmo 711s before but never in a track or autocross setting so for normal street use I was very happy with them.
I've NEVER owned a set of falkens so I simply cannot comment on them comparison wise. (sorry)
